5-2-1-0 Campaign

With the support of multiple Healthy Kids partners, we adapted and produced 5-2- 1-0 materials that aim to be culturally and locally relevant to the Dane County population. By promoting four key healthy habits, the campaign encourages families to aim for these behaviors in a fun and engaging way. Health systems and schools can utilize these resources with families and students to promote healthy behaviors.

Healthy Schools Learning Collaborative

We aim to make Dane County schools the healthiest in the state. We know that healthy children make better learners. By partnering with school wellness teams, we’re working to make each building a healthy place for children to learn. Incorporating health and wellness into school policies and practices, improves the learning environment for students and staff alike.

Got Water?

Since 2014, Healthy Kids and the Madison Metropolitan School District have partnered with the Madison Water Utility to promote drinking water in Madison schools. Each year, six schools are selected to receive a water hydration station for students and staff to access fresh water in a convenient way.

The application for the 2018 program is due Friday, November 17th
