Healthy Schools Learning Collaborative
We aim to make Dane County schools the healthiest in the state. By partnering with school staff and families, we’re working to make each building a healthy place for children to learn.
Comprised of school administrators and staff from around the county, this team support training on the Alliance for a Healthier Generation School Health Assessment. Additionally, we now that active students are better learners. This team supports Active Schools Core 4+ trainings for school and after-school staff members to get students up and moving before, during and after the school day.
Complete the Alliance for Healthier Generation’s School Health Assessment for your school. By completing the Assessment, your school will be eligible for a Wisconsin School Health Award. Our goal is to have every school in Dane County working towards this award. Join the team!
